Sukuna Multiple Campus Successfully Concludes Academia-Industry Dialogue and Capacity Development Training

Sukuna Multiple Campus successfully conducted two major programs simultaneously from May 31 to June 2, 2026, with the support of the University Grants Commission (UGC): a two-day Academia-Industry Dialogue on “Academia-Industry Collaborations: Developing a Resilient Workforce” and a three-day Capacity Development Training for Campus Administrative Staff.The programs were organized to strengthen institutional excellence, enhance workforce readiness, promote academia-industry collaboration, and develop the professional capacity of campus personnel. Both initiatives witnessed enthusiastic participation and provided valuable opportunities for learning, reflection, and knowledge exchange.The Academia-Industry Dialogue brought together university leaders, academic experts, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, faculty members, students, institutional representatives, journalists, and development practitioners. The event served as a platform for discussing key issues in higher education, including curriculum relevance, employability, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, leadership, and organizational resilience.Distinguished sessions were delivered by Prof. Dr. Biju Thapaliya, Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University; Dr. Anjaya Kumar Mishra, Dean of Madhesh University; Mr. Narottam Aryal, Chairman of Kings College; Mr. Badri Kumar Guragain, Chief Executive Officer of National Cooperative Bank Ltd.; and Mr. Guna Raj Nepal, Faculty Member of Sukuna Multiple Campus. Their presentations emphasized the importance of stronger partnerships between higher education institutions and industry to develop competent, adaptable, and entrepreneurial graduates.A major highlight of the program was the series of interactive panel discussions featuring Prof. Dr. Jeevan Dhakal, Dr. Shila Mishra, Mr. Roman Kattel, Mr. Munan Rijal, Mr. Badri Kumar Guragain, Dr. Mohan Kumar Subedi, Mr. Narottam Aryal, Mr. Aakash Dulal, and Mr. Arjun Raj Adhikari. Moderated by Mr. Guna Raj Nepal and Mr. N.P. Bhandari, the discussions focused on employability, entrepreneurship, skill development, organizational growth, and strengthening academia-industry partnerships. Active audience participation and open-floor discussions further enriched the dialogue and generated practical insights for future collaboration.Alongside the dialogue, the Capacity Development Training for Campus Administrative Staff focused on enhancing the competencies of administrative personnel, recognizing their crucial role in institutional effectiveness and quality assurance. The training covered Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) processes and documentation, digital skills, institutional problem-solving, workplace soft skills, personality development, public procurement, and documentation procedures.Facilitated by experienced resource persons, the training combined practical learning, discussions, and reflective exercises, equipping participants with knowledge and skills that will contribute to improved service delivery, efficient administration, and stronger institutional governance.The successful completion of both programs reflects Sukuna Multiple Campus's continued commitment to academic excellence, institutional development, and stakeholder engagement. सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसद्वारा २३० विद्यार्थीलाई खेलकुद सप्ताह अन्तर्गतकाे पुरस्कार वितरण सम्पन्न ।

सुन्दरहरैँचा / मोरङको सुन्दरहरैँचास्थित सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसले वार्षिक खेलकुद कार्यक्रममा उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन गर्ने २३० जना विद्यार्थीलाई पुरस्कार वितरण गरेको छ ।अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलाप उपसमिति सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसकाे आयाेजनामा कार्यक्रम गरिएको हाे । देशकै उत्कृष्ट क्यूएए (QAA) मान्यता प्राप्त क्याम्पसका रूपमा परिचित क्याम्पसले विभिन्न खेल विधामा विजयी विद्यार्थी तथा टिमलाई नगदसहित सम्मान गरेको हो । क्याम्पस प्रमुख अर्जुराज अधिकारीका अनुसार २०८२ माघ १६ गतेदेखि सञ्चालन गरिएको वार्षिक खेलकुद कार्यक्रममा सहभागी भई उत्कृष्टता हासिल गर्ने २३० जना विद्यार्थीलाई प्रमाणपत्र र मेडल तथा नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिएको हो ।कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत फुटबल, क्रिकेट, बास्केटबल, फुटसल, सटपुट तथा छात्र–छात्रा भलिबल प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गरिएको थियो । साथै पाँच विधामा दौड प्रतियोगिता समेत सम्पन्न गरिएको थियो । विभिन्न खेलमा विजयी टिम तथा खेलाडीलाई नगदसहित कुल १ लाख १ हजार ५ सय रुपैयाँ पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिएको क्याम्पसले जनाएको छ ।कार्यक्रमलाई सम्बोधन गर्दै क्याम्पस सञ्चालक समिति अध्यक्ष सुरेन्द्रबहादुर थापाले विद्यार्थीलाई अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापसँग जोड्न यस्ता प्रतियोगिताले महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्ने बताए । उनले खेलकुदमार्फत विद्यार्थीले क्याम्पस मात्र नभई देशकै उत्कृष्ट खेलाडी बन्न सक्ने उल्लेख गर्दै आगामी दिनमा यस्ता प्रतियोगितालाई अझ व्यवस्थित र परिस्कृत गर्दै लैजाने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरे ।यस्तै स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियनका सभापति एलिस ओझाले विद्यार्थीलाई प्रदान गरिने सेवा सुविधालाई अझ प्रभावकारी बनाउनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए । अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलाप उपसमिति संयोजक जनार्दन गुरागाईंको सभापतित्वमा कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको थियो ।

सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसमा दुई महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम आयोजना हुने ।

मोरङको सुन्दरहरैँचा स्थित सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसले उच्च शिक्षा, प्रशासनिक क्षमता विकास तथा शैक्षिक–औद्योगिक सहकार्यलाई सुदृढ बनाउने उद्देश्यसहित दुई महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्ने भएको छ । देशकै अब्बल शैक्षिक सस्थाकाे रुपमा रहेकाे याे क्याम्पसले गत वर्ष समेत अन्तराष्ट्रिय शैक्षिक सम्मेल सम्पन्न गरेकाे थियाे । क्याम्पसका अनुसार जेठ १७ र १८ गते “एकेडेमिया–इन्डस्ट्री डाइलग : Developing a Resilient Workforce” कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन हुनेछ । कार्यक्रममा विश्वविद्यालय, उद्योग, बैंकिङ, उद्यमशीलता तथा शिक्षा क्षेत्रका विज्ञहरूको सहभागिता रहने जनाइएको छ । कार्यक्रममार्फत उच्च शिक्षालय र उद्योग क्षेत्रबीच सहकार्य विस्तार, रोजगारमुखी शिक्षा, उद्यमशीलता विकास तथा दक्ष जनशक्ति उत्पादनका विषयमा व्यापक छलफल गरिनेछ । कार्यक्रममा मधेश विश्वविद्यालयका डिन डा. अन्जय कुमार मिश्र, पूर्वाञ्चल विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपति प्रा. डा. बिजु थपलिया, किस्स कलेजका अध्यक्ष नरोत्तम अर्याल तथा सहकारी विकास बैंकका सीईओ बद्रीकुमार गुरागाईंलगायतले सहजीकरण गर्ने जनाइएको छ । याे कार्यक्रममा शिक्षक, विद्यार्थी ,स्थानीय उद्याेगी ,छिमेकी क्याम्पसका व्यक्ति लगायतकाे सहभागिता रहने छ । यसैगरी, क्याम्पसले प्रशासनिक कर्मचारीहरूको क्षमता अभिवृद्धिका लागि “Skill Development Training for Campus Administrative Staff” शीर्षकको तीनदिने तालिम पनि सञ्चालन गर्ने भएको छ । तालिम जेठ १७ देखि १९ गतेसम्म क्याम्पस हल नं. ३ मा आयोजना हुनेछ । तालिममा गुणस्तर सुनिश्चितता (QAA) प्रक्रिया, अभिलेखीकरण, डिजिटल सीप विकास, सार्वजनिक खरिद प्रक्रिया, समस्या समाधान सीप, कार्यस्थलमा आवश्यक सफ्ट स्किल तथा व्यक्तित्व विकाससम्बन्धी विषयमा प्रशिक्षण दिइने क्याम्पस प्रशासनले जनाएको छ ।

सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पस को १९औँ क्याम्पस परिषद् बैठक अन्तर्गत खुला सत्र सम्पन्न भएको छ। विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोगबाट गुणस्तर सुनिश्चितता प्रत्यायन (QAA) प्राप्त उक्त क्याम्पसको परिषद् बैठकले नयाँ नेतृत्वसमेत चयन गरेको छ।बैठकबाट क्याम्पस सञ्चालक समितिको अध्यक्षमा सुरेन्द्र बहादुर थापा सर्वसम्मत निर्वाचित हुनुभएको हो। त्यसैगरी सदस्यहरूमा उमेश वस्ती, टिका कट्टेल, रमेश खड्का, नवराज चापागाई, पुण्यप्रसाद आचार्य, तिलकप्रसाद ढकाल, लक्ष्मीप्रसाद फुयाल, योजना शर्मा, योगराज काफ्ले, नेत्रप्रसाद ढकाल, तुलसीप्रसाद ढकाल, महेश कुमार आचार्य लगायत चयन भएका छन्।कार्यक्रममा कोशी प्रदेशका प्रदेश प्रमुख परशुराम खापुङको प्रमुख आतिथ्य रहेको थियो। क्याम्पस सञ्चालक समितिका अध्यक्ष केशव अधिकारीको अध्यक्षतामा सम्पन्न कार्यक्रममा क्याम्पस प्रमुख अर्जुनराज अधिकारीले क्याम्पसको वर्तमान शैक्षिक अवस्था, आगामी योजना तथा भावी कार्यक्रमबारे प्रस्तुति गर्नुभएको थियो।परिषद् बैठकका अवसरमा शिक्षा क्षेत्रमा योगदान पुर्‍याउने विभिन्न व्यक्तित्वलाई सम्मानसमेत गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रममा क्याम्पसको शैक्षिक गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि, भौतिक पूर्वाधार विकास तथा आगामी दिनमा विद्यार्थीमैत्री वातावरण निर्माण गर्ने विषयमा समेत छलफल भएको जनाइएको छ।

Free Health Camp Successfully Organized at Sukuna Multiple Campus

आज मिति २०८३ वैशाख १६ गते मोरङको सुन्दरहरैंचास्थित सुकुना बहुमुखी क्याम्पसको प्राङ्गणमा एक बृहत् निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य शिविर भव्यताका साथ सम्पन्न भएको छ। क्याम्पस प्रशासन र स्थानीय स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूको संयुक्त आयोजनामा सञ्चालित यस शिविरमा विद्यार्थी, प्राध्यापक, कर्मचारीका साथै स्थानीय सर्वसाधारणको उल्लेख्य सहभागिता रहेको थियो। शिविरमा विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकहरूद्वारा जनरल चेकअप, स्त्री रोग, हाडजोर्नी तथा नशा सम्बन्धी स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गरिनुका साथै सहभागीहरूलाई निःशुल्क रूपमा सुगर र रक्तचाप जाँचको सुविधा समेत प्रदान गरिएको थियो। स्वास्थ्य परीक्षणपश्चात् बिरामीहरूलाई आवश्यकता अनुसार निःशुल्क औषधि वितरण गरिएको यस कार्यक्रमले आर्थिक रूपमा विपन्न र स्वास्थ्य पहुँच बाहिर रहेका स्थानीय समुदायलाई प्रत्यक्ष राहत पुर्‍याएको छ। क्याम्पस प्रमुखले शैक्षिक गतिविधिका साथै विद्यार्थीहरूको शारीरिक र मानसिक स्वास्थ्यलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व अन्तर्गत यो कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिएको जानकारी दिनुभयो। करिब ५०० भन्दा बढी व्यक्तिले लाभ लिएको यस एकदिने शिविरले क्याम्पस र समुदायबीचको सम्बन्धलाई थप प्रगाढ बनाउनुका साथै स्वास्थ्य सचेतना फैलाउन महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेलेको छ।

It became a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue, research sharing, innovation, and collaboration focused on building a sustainable future for higher education. Institutional Excellence Reaffirmed: Sukuna Multiple Campus Secures Five-Year QAA Revalidation (2024–2029)

In a landmark achievement for community-based education in the Koshi Province, Sukuna Multiple Campus (SMC) has officially transitioned into its next era of academic prestige following a major UGC Board Decision on October 6, 2024. The University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal has formally conferred the Certificate of Institutional Accreditation to the campus, extending its QAA status through October 5, 2029. This revalidation marks the successful culmination of the 2nd Cycle of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA), a rigorous multi-year process that began after the campus first earned its status in 2015. As of April 2026, the campus is operating at peak administrative capacity, utilizing its password-protected "QAA 2nd Cycle" digital repository to maintain compliance and prepare for upcoming mid-term monitoring. This accreditation cycle has been particularly transformative due to the campus's aggressive focus on digital governance and infrastructure. Under the leadership of the campus administration and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), SMC has moved beyond traditional paper-based reporting to a sophisticated EMIS (Education Management Information System) and a custom Django-based ERP portal. These systems—integrated by the technical team—now provide the real-time data on student progression, teacher performance, and institutional transparency that the UGC Peer Review Team (PRT) demands. Furthermore, the campus has expanded its specialized offerings, such as BICTE, B.Sc. (Physics/Geology), and MBS, ensuring that the academic portfolio meets the "research-oriented competent manpower" goals outlined in its revised mission statement.
